Kontoeröffnung PostFinance app for iPhone and iPad

Open a personal account with PostFinance in only 10 minutes. Use this App to enter the required details, and have a valid identity document handy (Swiss ID card or Swiss passport). You can then launch the identification process via video chat, from 8 am to 10 pm on weekdays and from 8 am to 1 pm on Saturdays.

Identification via video chat is simple and saves time - it is no longer necessary for you to appear in person at the post office or at a PostFinance branch. You merely need an iOS device with a functioning camera, a stable internet connection and a valid Swiss identity document.

Within 1 hour of successfully completing the identification process you will receive your new account number by text message. You can then already transfer money into your new personal account and provide it as for example a salary account.
